2014 Strawberry Music Festival (Chengdu) Live

This was the Strawberry Music Festival’s first time in Chengdu. I usually listen to music on Xiami and knew a few familiar artists, so I went with some friends. Chengdu had just stepped into summer, and the atmosphere at the venue was electric. But the girls’ outfits were refreshingly cool — hard to resist. This year’s theme was “SNS life is rubbish, get a real life.” I couldn’t agree more — with so many girls around, who the hell wants to hang out online!

I have to admit Song Dongye was incredibly popular, but this kind of hot, intense music really needs more rhythm. Re-TROS had an amazing live presence. Lao Lang played all nostalgic songs: Model Love Letter, The Brother Who Slept in the Bunk Above Me, and of course the inevitable full-audience singalong of My Deskmate.
